Join the long list of those who have been fooled by this clever handling! The magician takes three similar coins and one odd coin, let's say three half dollars and a penny. The half dollars and the penny are displayed in his right hand. Both left hand and right hand are closed and turned over. The right hand is then opened and there are only two half dollars and a penny. One coin has traveled over to the left hand! This effect is now repeated with the remaining two coins... So what makes this unique? When the hands are opened, fingers are spread wide apart, clearly showing that there is nothing else in the hand. Coins may be examined before and after as there are no expanded shells, flipper coins, etc.
Here's just a few of the magicians who were completely fooled when Roger Monaco first showed them this effect over 20 years ago: - Frank Garcia
- John Blake
- Derek Dingle
- Harry Lorayne
- Tony Spina
- Doug Edwards
- Harry Blackstone, Jr
- Dean Dill
